Types of Skilled Migration Visas

This is a permanent residence visa intended for persons who have skills which are in demand in Australia’s labour market

This is a permanent residence visa for skilled workers. Applicants can obtain an additional bonus 5 points as a result of having a State or Territory sponsor

This visa gives applicant Temporary Residence for 5 years. Holder of this visa is permitted to apply for a Permanent Residence visa after they have lived and worked for 3 years in a specific Regional area

A point based visa similar to its predecessor, Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491)
To be eligible for this visa, applicant must hold Subclass 491 visa whereby the applicant must have spent a significant period living and working in designated regional areas

Completed at least 2 academic years, Doctorate or Master by research qualifications in Science, Technology , Engineering, Mathematics and Information & Communication Technology fields
Credentialled Community Language
Recognised level of proficiency in a community language relevant to the Australian labor market
Partner Skills
Applicant’s partner can also claim points for their skills and English Language Proficiency
