Parent Visa
“Bringing Families Back Together in Australia.”
There’s nothing more important than family. At Auslife Migration Consultants, we understand how meaningful it is to be close to your children and grandchildren. If your children are Australian citizens or permanent residents, the Parent Visa offers a way for you to join them and start a new chapter—together—in Australia.
- Reunite with your children and loved ones
- Access to Australia’s public healthcare system (Medicare)
- Opportunities to work or start a business
- Pathway to Australian permanent residency and citizenship
- In some cases, stay in Australia while your visa is being processed
To be eligible for a Parent Visa, you must:
- Pass the Balance of Family Test: At least half of your children must be living in Australia permanently, or more of your children must live in Australia than in any other country
- Have a child who is:
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident
- At least 18 years old
- Living in Australia for at least 2 years
- Willing to sponsor your visa
- An Australian citizen or permanent resident
We’ll help you choose the right visa option based on your age, financial situation, and whether you're applying from inside or outside of Australia.
